Castaway for Conservation

  • The Depot Pavilion, Thompson's Point Thompsons Point Road Portland, ME, 04102 United States (map)

Congratulations! You made it to another fishing season! Come celebrate with the Sebago Chapter of Trout Unlimited at our second annual Cast Away for Conservation Event taking place on Wednesday, May 11, at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. Proceeds from the event will go to supporting the TU Sebago Chapter’s exciting conservation programs. This is our main fundraising event of the year!

Curious about different fly rod styles? Want to learn about different casting techniques? Want to learn about what coldwater conservation efforts are happening in your backyard? Come enjoy some local food and beer, vendors, and general merrymaking for the evening.

New this year! Castaway for Conservation will feature live music to add to the fun outdoor atmosphere! Be sure to stick around for the end of the night as the event will include a silent auction and raffle.

More details:

  • As is all the rage these days this will be a "BYOC" event, bring your own chairs, or blankets if you want! There will be a few picnic tables and benches for those not inclined toward self-seating.

  • There is plenty of parking is available on site at the metered, paved spaces at the venue. Biking and walking are also great options!

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
