Exploring the Presumpscot River

Join the Sebago Chapter of Trout UnlimitedFriends of the Presumpscot River, and the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust at Dundee Park where we will learn all about the ongoing conservation efforts for this watershed and the best fishing spots and access. Lou Zambello, Sebago Chapter Board member and author of Flyfisher's Guide to New England will host.

After a review of conservation efforts and history about the Presumpscot River at 9:00 am, we will then split into small groups led by experienced TU members who will take us to a part of the river to learn access, how and when to fish it, and maybe even do a little fishing. The small groups will convene from 10:30 to 12:30, and then a second round will commence from 1:00 pm to 3 pm. You can attend one of the morning groups, or the afternoon ones, or both! For those who want to launch kayaks or canoes, one group will explore Dundee Pond.

Dundee Park will be the focus of activities, at the upper pond, located at the end of Presumpscot Road, off of River Road (not at Dundee Dam). Plan to bring your own equipment, water, and lunch.

This is a FREE event but please register so that we can plan accordingly.
