Rotary Club donates to the Edes Fall Fish Passage project

Sebago TU Conservation Committee members Jim Wescott, Robb Cotiaux and Matt Streeter enjoyed lunch (and some good-natured ribbing on the relative virtues of trout vs. bass fishing) with the Sebago Lake Rotary Club recently. The impetus for the meeting was Rotary's $2,500 contribution to the Crooked River fish passage project at Edes Falls in Naples. Jim Wescott shared background on the landlocked salmon run in the Crooked, and its importance for the ecological health of Sebago Lake and its fisheries. We felt honored to receive such a warm welcome at the meeting, and look forward to working together with Sebago Lake Rotary in the future.
