Sebago Chapter Members Annual Meeting

  • Allagash Brewing Company 50 Industrial Way Portland, Maine, 04103 United States (map)

The Sebago Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold the annual members meeting at the Allagash Brewing Company on November 19, starting at 6 pm.  This meeting happens once per year, and all Sebago TU members are invited and encouraged to attend the gathering.  The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers and board members and to provide the membership with a brief review of ongoing project work and plans for conservation initiatives for the upcoming year.  There will also be raffles for fishing gear to add a little fun.

The highlight of the meeting will be a talk by entomology specialist Eric Frohmberg. He will discuss a recent study on brook trout feeding habits in Aroostook County.  Eric has been studying entomology on and off for ... well, he never really grew out of it as all kids like to watch bugs.  He has been producing the Angler’s Entomology podcast since 2016 on aquatic entomology as it relates to fly fishing.  The podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and at his website: https://anglersentomology.libsyn.com/ Eric teaches entomology at the Maine TU Trout Camp, volunteers at the Maine Entomological Society and Maine State Museum, and participates in multiple citizen science projects.  Eric is also a Registered Maine Guide who offers trips to rivers to sample the insects and teach clients how to recognize different insects, observe their behavior, how to imitate them, and infer what kind of insects can be expected in that stream.  He can be reached at anglersent@gmail.com

We ask that members planning to attend register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2003472018740?aff=oddtdtcreator

We want to thank Allagash Brewing Company for being a supporting  partner of Sebago Clean Waters and TU.
