The Native Fish Coalition was established in 2017 with the mission to "Protect, Preserve and Restore native fish populations through stewardship of the fish and their habitats". Bob Mallard, Founding Member and Vice Chair of the National Board, is a Registered Maine Fishing Guide, a former fly shop owner, and author of two books and dozens of articles on fly fishing. His next book, Squaretail: The Definitive Guide to Brook Trout, is due out summer of 2019. 

Emily Bastion, Maine Chair and the General Manager for Trident Fly Fishing, has worked as a National Park Ranger, Maine Game Warden, law enforcement officer and field biologist. She was responsible for the Maine Audubon Maine Brook Trout Survey Project from 2011 to 2016, and has taught fly fishing at L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools.

Bob and Emily will give their presentation "Maine's Rare Arctic Charr", a brief history, biology, status, threats, conservation, and fishing for Maine's Arctic charr.
